SERVICES AND FEES

In home training sessions can be day training or coaching sessions. If the best approach to reach your goals is day training, we will meet for coaching sessions after I have trained your dog, to make sure that you learn how to elicit the new learned behavior from your dog. During these training sessions (aka: transfer sessions) I will make sure you feel comfortable implementing the mechanics needed for the training plan as well as to teach your dog to mind you, and not only the trainer :-)

If the success of the training requires that we work with your dog somewhere else than your home, not a problem! We can accomplish this via the day training or coaching sessions.

Tellington TTouch® Sessions for Dogs, Cats, Rabbits and Birds

As a certified Tellington TTouch® practitioner for Companion Animals I offer TTouch® sessions for dogs, cats, rabbits and birds. After we make contact I will interview you briefly by phone to learn more about your animal and the situation you need help with.

If I feel that I can be of help, we will meet in your home for a 60-minute consultation, during which time I will learn in great detail about your pet's behavior, medical history, and diet—as well as about your specific goals.

Depending on your personal goals and the kind of behavior(s) that we are dealing with, I will give you my assessment of the best method for accomplishing your goals and my best estimate about the number of sessions that will be required.

Training Lexi

One of my favorite parts of training is having a client's dog spend a few days to a couple of weeks living with us. We get to train and play everyday. Lexi spent 10 days with us. She is a young dog full of energy who will chew everything, entertain you with her constant jumping and non-stop happy barking.  Does this sound like your dog? The training was a structured and managed  stay with ample opportunity for her to spend her energy in activities that we both approved of, plus short training sessions throughout the day. Lexi was not only learning to bark and shush on cue, sit politely for her meals, wait before going through doors and to greet with four paws on theround. She also learned that training is fun! Moreover, by engaging in new and improved behaviors she got access to the things she loves most: her meals, romps at the park and playing with my dog  Laika. Once Lexi left our home, she continued to behave like a dog. She still chews, jumps and barks! But this time around, she chews her own toys, jumps on you when invited and barks for a set number of times. The good news is that success stories like this are just a phone call away!
